Rub-a-Dub-Dub
We all enjoy a nice warm bath every now and again, but are there ways to improve on your personal hygiene that will make life easier:
Don’t bathe too often or too long. You might not need to shower every day, especially if you aren’t doing much physical activity. Too long in the bath or shower can cause skin drying and damage.
Not to hot. Cooler or lukewarm are best for your skin. Too hot and your natural oils and protective skins layers get damaged.
Hair needs a balance. Excessive washing can make your hair dry and brittle. Not enough can cause dandruff build up. Once a week is all it needs for most people.
Cleanse with care.Using traditional soaps may cause irritation. Consider liquid cleansers like moisturizing body wash, or consider organic soaps or specialty bath products.
Thoughtful washing. Make sure you soap on most important parts (underarms, groin, feet) and wash top to bottom so the suds flow down.
Leave till last.Shave at the end. After washing, body hair will soften making it easier and more comfortable.
Pat dry. Rubbing with a towel can irritate.
